Abstract:
Bulk tank milk (BTM) has been used for detection milk state and pathogens that might exist in a dairy herd. It was considered as a main section of milk quality assurance programs in many countries. Total of ۴۴ milk sample of bulk tank from Saanen and Alpine breeds with were aseptically collected and cultured. The frequency of the isolated bacteria was E.coli (۳۵/۴۴: ۷۹.۵ %), T.pyogenes (۲۸/۴۴:۶۳.۶%), S.aureus (۷/۴۴:۱۶%), S.agalactiae (۵/۴۴:۱۱.۴%), CoNS (۶/۴۴:۱۳.۷%), and C.pseudotuberculosis (۲۹/۴۴:۶۶%) respectively. These results suggest some difficulty in managing the hygiene quality goat's milk, which may be due to a series of factors including the milking system. The results of this study could form the basis for determining specific microbiological quality standards for goat's milk in Iran.
