Relationship between early maladaptive schemas and marital burnout among teachers and employees of Takab health network

Marital burnout means physical, emotional and psychological exhaustion and fatigue that arises from the mismatch between expectations and reality, which brings with it many psychological problems. Examining and recognizing the factors related to marital burnout can be To prevent such a problem from being effective, early maladaptive schemas are considered to be important factors in predicting the rate of marital burnout. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between early maladaptive schemas and burnout among teachers and staff of Takab Health Network. In a descriptive correlational design, ۲۵۵ people were selected from the statistical population of teachers and health network staff of Takab city by proportional stratified sampling method. Data were collected using Yang Schema Questionnaire (۱۹۹۸) and Paniz Marital Boredom Questionnaire (۱۹۹۶) and analyzed using SPSS software and Pearson correlation tests, multivariate regression analysis and independent t-test.Results: The results of regression analysis showed that there is a direct and significant relationship between early maladaptive schemas with marital burnout of teachers and staff. Also, the results showed that the rate of marital burnout is different between teachers and health workers (P <۰.۰۱).Conclusion: This is the result of this study and the early maladaptive schemas are effective in increasing marital burnout, therefore, people should be taught ways to control and prevent marital burnout.
