Abstract:
The study area is located in the East of Azerbaijan, Northwest of Sefidkamar valley, and Northeast of Shabestar city. The igneous rocks of the region are volcanic type and the main minerals include Pyroxene, Amphibole, Olivin, and Plagioclase. The main textures in this rock flow, porphyry, and the sub-textures are glomeroporphyric, Trackytic, and sieve textures. According to Geochemical studies, these volcanic rocks have Basalt to Andesite basalt and Andesite compositions; These rocks are of the calk-alkaline basaltic type of the continental active margin environment. REE diagrams show enrichment of LREE than to HREE in the rocks which is showing they have originated from an enrichment mantle source. The primary magma of these rocks originated from the ۵-۱۰% partial melting rate of spinel-garnet Lherzolite mantle.
