Abstract:
This paper aims at developing a boundary element model for investigation of multi-region membranes. For this purpose the boundary element method along with the dual reciprocity technique is used to formulate the problem of free-vibrations of the membrane considering multiple zones. The obtained model is verified with exact analytical results and excellent results have been achieved
