In this paper, a second order cone programmingframework is proposed to design mismatched filters for orthogonalfrequency division multiplexing radars. The problem isformulated as a minimization of the peak sidelobe level of themismatched filter’s output at the design stage and then as asecond order cone programming that is a convex problem and hasa global solution. The Doppler effects and loss in processing gainare considered in the problem as well to design Doppler-tolerantmismatched filters. Simulation results display the effectivenessof the proposed strategy to design mismatched filters with theoptimal peak sidelobe level.
