Abstract:

Yagi-Uda antennas used in terahertz frequencies are usually not located on any substrate. As a result, there is no possibility of fabrication of them. In this paper, our dielectric resonator Yagi-Uda nanoantenna design with a printed feed on the substrate is a new design and enables the fabrication of nanoantenna. But in comparison to dielectric resonator Yagi-Uda NA with elements in free space, due to the inherent characteristics of the coplanar waveguide, we face the loss of directivity and also side lobes in particular a back lobe. So, we suggest the designs that directivity increase again. These includefrequency selective surface, lens, and defected ground structure.
