Kinetic of De composition of Hydrogen Peroxide Ove r MnO۲ a nd MnO۲ Suported on -Al۲O۳

The catalytic decom position of Hydrogen peroxide by solid metals has gained concide rable attention. The reacti on has been treated by many authors from the point of view of the r adical mechanis m[۱-۴]. On the basis of the electron theory ,the metal could be consi dered as a source and as a sink of electrons. Altho ugh ,the high activity of solid metals towards t he decomposition of H۲O۲ has been w ell-known f or sometime, very little work has been reporte d on the catalytic decomposition of that reaction using Over M nO۲. In this article we investigate t he decomposition of H۲O۲ over MnO۲ Suported on -Al۲O۳.
