Abstract:

Porous Al۲O۳ has been widely used as a template for preparation of many fu nctional materials for optical, electr onic, magnetic, electrochemical app lications and drug deli very [۴,۵]. In this study, porous nan o-ƴ-alumin a employed as the carrier for drug delivery of the Mefe namic acid. Alumina nan oparticles were success fully coated by the ads orption of M efenamic acid in aqueous solutions. Mefenamic acid drug with weight ratio of Alumina/Mefe namic acid, ۲۰/۱ (Mefenamic acid-۱) and ۱۰/۱ (Mefenamic acid-۲) w ere loaded on the nan oparticles su rface and p orous area. The in vitro release of the drugs were investigated in the buffer solution at pH=۱.۳, ۷.۲, ۹.
