In this study, analyzing of wind data carried out to deremine the potential of wind power in Mazandaran province based on Weibull probability distribution function. The mean wind speed was calculated 2.69 m/s for 40 m height and the mean wind power density was found 49 W/m2. It was found that Kelardasht region in Mazandaran province hasn’t good potential for using large-scale wind turbines.
