Abstract:

The issue of uncertainty is one of the unavoidable and attractive topics in the real world. Recently, fuzzy data have been included in data envelopment analysis models and many researchers have researched in this field. In addition, ranking units in data envelopment analysis is by itself a challenging issue. What is presented in this paper as an idea is a two-step method for ranking decision-making units with fuzzy inputs and outputs. In this method, we first obtain the efficiency of the units using fuzzy DEA models. These efficiency scores themselves are fuzzy numbers. Then, using the PROMETHEE ΙΙ, which is one of the outranking methods, we rank the units based on their efficiency scores. In our method, the decision-making units are the alternatives and the upper bound, middle value and lower bound of the efficiency scores are considered as decision making criteria. The method presented in this paper is used in an example and we also use GAIA PROMETHEE to create a geometric insight. Finally the results are analyzed.
