Investigating the P-Δ effects on the general behavior of RCS mixed bending frames

In this article, the behavior of P- effects on the general behavior of RCS mixed-bending frames is studied. RCS mixed-bending frame includes steel beam and concrete column which includes both of their usefulness. No previous research has evaluated the P-Δ effects on the general behavior of these frames. Therefore, in order to show this matter a virtual bearing gravity load column is used. In this research four ۳-, ۵-, ۱۰-, and ۱۵-story models are evaluated using OpenSees software without delta p effects. Results show that the effects of delta p have meaningful effect on the general behavior of these frames.
