Abstract:

In recent years, with the increase of excavations in urban areas such as public transportation systems (subways, underpasses, etc.), the construction of huge structures and parking lots, the impact of external load on trenches and the issue of maintaining their stability is of particular importance. One of the most important issues in the stability of trenches is choosing the appropriate method technically, operationally and economically. One of the proposed solutions for such problems is the slope stabilization method using a combination of piles and anchorage. In this method, first the in-situ piles are executed in the drilled holes and then the excavation and anchoring are performed step by step. Therefore, using geotechnical information of Kerman city and using FLAC۳D finite difference software, stabilization system was performed using a combination of piles and anchorage on the studied slope. The results of this study showed that in Kerman soil, vertical trenches without support system with a distributed load of ۰.۵۰ MPa, have a safety factor of ۰.۶۳ and for vertical trenches without support system with a local load of ۰.۵۰ MPa will have a safety factor of ۰.۶۲. Also for vertical trenches with combined pile and anchorage support system including ۱۸ anchors with ۱۰ ° installation angle, ۴ piles and ۱۰ cm shotcrete and ۰.۵۰ MPa distributed load, have a safety factor of ۱.۳۹ and for vertical trenches with the above mentioned support system and With a local applied load of ۰.۵۰ MPa, they will have a safety factor of ۱.۳۸. The results show that the mentioned support system can perform well in urban areas to prevent the displacment of trenches and large ditches.
