Abstract:

Most of the researches in the field of work family enrichment proposed that work family enrichment mediates the relation between work resources and job outcomes. We believe that, in accordance with Greenhaus and Powel model of enrichment, these previous findings did not present a good explanation of work family enrichment mechanism. Based on sample of teachers in primary schools in Isfahan city we proposed a framework: job satisfaction mediates the relation between work resources and work to family enrichment (WFE). This paper put emphasis on the strength of positive emotions in work family enrichment process. We defined supervisory support, coworker support and job autonomy as positive job resources and surface acting as a negative job resource (job demand). Using structural equation modeling (SEM) and regression analysis, research framework models were examined. Results demonstrated that contrary to previous researches, job satisfaction mediated the relation between work resources (except coworker support) and WFE, and also direct effects of work resources on work to family enrichment were insignificant.
