Abstract:

In subsurface investigation, Standard Penetration Test (SPT) is usually applied and rarely is Plate Load Test (PLT) applied. Question is that with consider to applied andexamined cases which one of available correlation equations for Es-Nspt are optimum. For obtain to this goal elasticity theory was used. A settlement that is equal toimmediate settlement can be obtained by PLT and Es can be computed by back calculation of immediate settlement equation. This Es is very close to real amountsand will be taken in mind as a basic calculation. These bases along with them Nsptamounts in the same points will be investigated in order to achieve the most optimum correlation equation for these two parameter.
