Discovering the impact of automated writing evaluation (AWE) is critical to realizing the benefits of employing technology to learn languages. Despite a substantial body of research on AWE, the effects of automated written corrective feedback (AWCF) on writing accuracy at different levels of expertise have yet to be experimentally established. This study addresses a gap in the literature by using a quantitative approach to investigate the usefulness of Grammarly on L۲ writing accuracy across a range of language proficiency levels.
