Abstract:
In this paper, we investigate the skin depth and the absorbed power of the Epstein electron density plasma in interaction with radio frequency source. We have calculated the absorption power in Epstein density plasma by one electron as well as the total plasma. By plotting the skin depth, we came to the conclusion that by increasing the grad coefficient and the thickness of the plasma, the depth of the crust tends to zero. Examining the diagram of absorbed power in plasma in terms of collision frequency and electron density, it is observed that with increasing plasma thickness, the maximum amount of absorbed power also increases and with increasing electron density, which is in the form of Epstein distribution, it tends to zero.
