Abstract:

The present study aimed to examine the Neuro-Linguistic programming (NLP) techniques applied in Iranian EFL classes and show the possible relationship between NLP techniques used by teachers and the students’ satisfaction. An NLP’s questionnaire was administrated based on NLP’s techniques to clarify the techniques employed in the Iranian EFL classes. An additional questionnaire was used to assess the students’ satisfaction. A Pearson correlation test was conducted to determine the relationship between teachers’ use of NLP techniques and students’ satisfaction. The result of the study revealed that building rapport was the most frequent technique in Iranian EFL classes. Furthermore, a significant relationship between NLP’s techniques and students’ satisfaction was obtained.
