Abstract:

Background: Having a healthy heart is essential to human life, and cardiovascular disease is not specific to any age or sex, and everyone of any age and sex may be affected.objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of strategies to compare the effectiveness of emotional self-regulation strategies and pain coping strategies on health dimensions in coronary heart disease patients. Methods: This research was applied in terms of purpose and semi-experimental method and pretest-posttest and follow-up designs with a control group. The statistical population consisted of all patients with coronary heart disease from July to October ۲۰۱۹, who referred to Heshmatieh Hospital in Sabzevar, which were randomly selected by ۴۵ patients and randomly divided into three groups (two experimental groups and one control group) and a questionnaire was carried out between three groups. The research instrument was a general health questionnaire (GHQ-۲۸). Data were analyzed using a mixed analysis of variance using SPSS.۲۵ software.Results: The results showed that emotional self-regulation strategies and pain coping strategies have an effect on health dimensions and reduce physical symptoms, anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction, and depression in coronary heart disease patients (p <۰.۰۰۱). The results showed that in the post-test and follow-up physical symptoms, the difference between emotional self-regulation strategies and pain coping strategies was significant, and pain coping strategies were more effective (p <۰.۰۰۱). Conclusion: Therefore, it can be said that training emotional self-regulation strategies and pain coping strategies can improve health dimensions in coronary heart disease patients.
