Major Research Activities of METRI in 2004-2005

The year 2004-2005 highlighting the research, academic and other activities of METRI in the field of atmosphere, climate, marine meteorology, and earthquake will be presented ill this workshop. The missions of METRI are to support the improvement of the meteorological services of KMA, and to advance the basic and fundamental technologies of atmospheric sciences. Keeping this in view, METRI in 2004-2005 has carried out principal and basic projects, and operated and managed the computing system for the effective and successful performance of research under the research structure shown in Fig. 1.
