This report summarizes the findings of the study conducted by NetWwaterand Khuzestan water and power authority and Ziggurat sazeh consulting engineersinKhuzestan province (Ramhormoz District) on impact of sand mining on environment and ground water-body. Sand is being removed from rivers, rivers mouths, banks and atinland sand deposits and hence rivers in our country are under immense pressure.
