phylogenetic analysis of HK۲ gene in different species

HK۲ is considered a significant gene in the metabolic pathway. It has to be regulated correctly because any change in the HK۲ sequence can lead the cell to become a cancerous. This research goes and deals with the similarities and differences of the HK۲ genome between various animals based on the chance of getting cancer.Results showed some important nucleotides area in some animals, especially in Mole mice. Also, the length of Hk۲ gene has a direct connection with the chance of getting cancer. All of this evidences showed the existence of genetic changes in the transcriptome sequence of this gene reduces the chance of getting cancer.
