خلاصه مقاله:
Global environmental concerns and escalating demands for energy, coupled with steady progress in renewable energy technologies are creating new opportunities to utilize renewable energy resources especially that fossil resources are non-renewable sources of energy which contribute to environmental pollution, and they need special institution to generate energy and then to transfer it to the users, unlike the case of photovoltaic cells which present the possibility of generating clean energy from renewable source within the human-build environment envelope using current existing building. PV cells convert sun radiation to usable electricity for human needs. These cells are also known as – BAPV – building added photovoltaic and photovoltaic –BIPV– building integrated photovoltaic. In this article we aim to investigate the photovoltaic cells and their integration categoris within the building which not only serve their main goal by generating electricity to secure the buildings need for energy but also considering different architectural aspects that can affect the building form , structure and function. BIPVs have various functions for example sun protection, heating, aestathic,….Like any other technology, BIPVs performanced are effected by some factors such as tempeture, position, shadows, etc.
