Abstract:

Background: The COVID-۱۹ pandemic has caused stagnations and problems in the world in the last two years. lockdown limited the number of places that people could use to maintain their mental and physical health. Due to the fear of infection, the desire of people to be outdoors has increased. Also, the way of using urban green spaces has changed. These factors provided a special opportunity for urban management to plan and design by recognizing the preferences of people to attend these spaces.Objectives: The purpose of this article is to find the role of green spaces in daily life and health of people, especially in the COVID-۱۹ pandemic. In addition, how urban management can improve urban infrastructure in order to improve green spaces in proportion to people's use.Method: This research is through general review method and by studying and analyzing Latin researches related to urban green spaces and urban management in COVID-۱۹ pandemic, gives a general and systematic conclusion in this regard.Results: Out of two databases (Google Scholar & Science Direct), ۲۴ articles were eligible for analysis and review, of which about ۷۱% were research articles and ۲۹% were review articles. The findings indicated that people's use of urban green space has increased in this situation and the type of use of these spaces has become individual.Conclusion: Urban green spaces (USG) have a very important role in improving people's health, so urban management should pay attention to pedestrians and bicycle paths and personal entertainment in order to improve these spaces and eliminate barriers by providing appropriate access to urban green spaces.
