Camera-based system for social distance monitoring in Covid-۱۹ outbreaks using image processing

The social distance on these days is very important for all. In public places, many boards and labels are viewed that the term maintaining social distance is written on them. Also, maintaining social distance helps reduce the transmission of corona virus, especially in the metro that there is a lot of human traffic. In this paper, a system based on the image processing, which automatically identifies the location of each person and calculates the social distance between individuals. The final results at the end of the paper show that our proposed method has a good accuracy and its high speed than other methods proves the ability to use this system in public assemblies.
