خلاصه مقاله:
The growing trend of housing demand due to solving the problem of land and housing and the development of one-dimensional and quantitative approach to housing environments as thinking arising from the social and economic contexts of contemporary Iran, has led to the current culture of architecture and urban planning. Necessary attention should not be paid to the fundamental issue of the quality of the residential environment in its true sense. This issue, along with the interaction of the quality of the residential environment on the quality of life of residents, requires a comprehensive and systematic definition of the quality of residential environments. One of the most important strategies used to solve the land problem was the policy of moving from horizontal growth to vertical growth, which showed the clearest form of its realization in the form of residential complexes consisting of high-rise apartment blocks. The research was conducted using valid Persian and English databases such as Google Scholar, ISID, PubMed, Science Direct and finally entered the study phase. The study of sources showed that what has been less considered in the planning and design of these complexes is the relationship and impact of sustainable architecture principles in reducing the environmental impact of residential complexes that can be examined in future research.
