خلاصه مقاله:
Membrane systems are one of the best techniques introduced to reduce CO۲ emissions from industrial resources. Using membrane as separation equipment has gained much interest due to its obvious advantages, like low energy consumption and being environmentally friendly. We simulated a membrane process to investigate the feasibility of using a hollow-fiber membrane module and further to find suitable operation conditions and reach optimum capacity. Moreover, applying counter-current configuration resulted in great purity of CO۲ stream of ۹۹% and lower energy consumption. Moreover, the required surface area of membranes for reduction of ۹۰% of CO۲ content in the first and second stages decreased by ۲۵% and ۵۰% respectively
