Abstract:

The present work describes the characteristics of a vanadium oxide supported on CUBTC MOFproduced by hydrothermal treatment. The incipient wetness impregnation approach was used tocreate a promising catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation of propane (ODHP). The as-preparedcatalyst was characterized using XRD, SEM, EDS, and BET. Additionally, XRD analysisrevealed a lack of vanadium-specific peaks due to fine dispersion and a tiny quantity ofvanadium in the VOx/CuBTC catalyst during calcination, as well as a reduction of the specificsurface area according to BET. Propylene production rose from ۰.۹۸% to ۴.۷۲% at ۲۸۰°C dueto the presence of vanadium.
