خلاصه مقاله:
The present study aimed at synthesizing and characterizing mixed oxides/bacterial cellulose nanocomposites and evaluating its Antibacterial Activities. The first part of this experimental work included preparation of bacterial cellulose, and syntheses and characterization of [NBC/NiO:ZnO] and [NBC/NiO:Co۳O۴] nanocomposites based on nanostructure specifically with bacterial cellulose as a composite. All the composites were synthesized using hydrothermal method; the structures of the new composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive X–ray (SEM/EDX), x-ray diffraction (XRD) and Atomic force microscopy (AFM). The second part of study pertains to the evaluation of Antibacterial Activities. The largest zone of inhibition (۴۰mm) was observed for [NBC/NiO: Co۳O۴] composite at the highest concentration against (staph) and for [NBC/NiO:ZnO] composite against (E-coil) at the highest concentration was the largest of inhibition (۳۵mm).
