Abstract:

Today, young couples unknowingly disrupt the quality of their married life by having conflicting behaviors, and the relationship between them is also related to mental health.Therefore the main issue of the present study is whether behavioral methodology of happiness training is effective on marital quality and mental health? The statistical population of the present study includes all married men and women referring to psychology and counseling centers in ۲۰ districts of Tehran in ۱۳۹۹. The sample size was ۳۶ people. ۱۸ people in the experimental group and ۱۸ people in the control group. Sampling method of the present study Sampling was available. In order to select the sample, first the files of all clients of the counseling center were examined and married people with marital and mental problems were selected, which was a total of ۳۶ people who were randomly divided into two The control and experimental groups of ۱۸ were divided. Measurement instruments for data collection were Goldberg GHQ-۲۸ General Health Questionnaire, Busby Marital Quality Questionnaire (RDAS) and Oxford Happiness Questionnaire. In this study, it was seen that cognitive-behavioral happiness education has an effect on marital quality, happiness and mental health in married men and women. Finally, our study concluded that cognitive-behavioral happiness education has an effect on the quality of life of married men and women.
