Abstract:

Background:Pregnancy is a state of partial immune suppression which makes pregnant women more vulnerable to viral infections, and the mor-bidity is higher even with seasonal influenza. Therefore, the COVID-۱۹ epidemic may have serious consequences for pregnant women. It is not clear whether women can decide to become pregnant during the COVID-۱۹pandemic or whether they are at risk, because examining the long-term consequences of the virus, especially in the first months of pregnancy, requires further time and research. Coronavirus disease ۲۰۱۹ (COVID-۱۹) is a novel global public health emergency. Prenatal care (PNC)providing institutes should identify the needs and demands of pregnant women by optimizing the means of PNCservices during the COVID-۱۹ pandemic. The present study aims to review published literature in this regard. Since December, ۲۰۱۹, the outbreak As of November ۲۳, ۲۰۲۰.Method: A review of ۷۳,۴۶۸ final articles published in this area revealed that COVID-۱۹ can cause highly contagious pneumonia caused by the severe acute respiratory syndromecoronavirus ۲ (SARS-CoV-۲). Pregnant women are moresusceptible to viral infection due to pregnancy alter-ations. Social distancing program and fear of getting thesick lead to the reduction of prenatal care referrals, add-itionally pregnant women are also more willing to re-duce the frequency of prenatal care. Results:The current epidemic of COVID-۱۹ is severe and worry-ing all over the world, and the number of pregnantwomen with the virus is on the rise because of preg-nancy is a physiological state that predisposes women toviral infection. With the rise in global attention,much has been done to better understand and control COVID-۱۹ from various perspectives. The strategy proposed by this study may be helpful in weariness of health professionals andpolicy makers should be aware of factors influencingprenatal and self-care among pregnant women. Conclusion:There are many factors involved in predicting the use of clinical guidelines in practice. It is essential to identify these and continue to support their use, as appropriately designed clinical practice guidelines can provide immense benefits to all those involved in the health system. So, itcan improve prenatal care and is helpful in promotinghealth in pregnancy in critical duration of outbreak ofdisease. Therefore, it is hoped that the strategy proposedin the current study can lead to improve ability of ac-cessible prenatal care
