Abstract:
In this study, the classic Cubic Plus Association model was employed to correlate viscosity and speed of sound in [C۴mim][PF۶] ionic liquid. In this way, the FVT model was applied to correlate the dynamic viscosity of the IL. Moreover, classic thermodynamics relations were utilized to compute the speed of sound in the IL medium.According to the calculated results, good agreements between estimated and experimental values are seen so that overall AADs% equal to ۷.۲۸ and ۱.۰۴ was obtained for viscosity and speed of sound, respectively.
