بررسی تاثیر تحریک الکتریکی نقاط فشاری LI۴ و LI۱۱ بر میزان ناتوانی درد کمربند لگنی در زنان باردار: یک کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی شده

Introduction: pelvic girdle pain is one of the most common problem during pregnancy. Acupuncture is one of the treatment strategies. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the effect of electrical stimulation of LI۴ and LI۱۱ needle points on the disability of pelvic girdle pain in pregnant women.Material and methods: This randomized clinical trial was performed on ۱۰۱ pregnant women referred to Qazvin health centers with and pelvic pain, from April to November ۲۰۲۰. Sampling was available and then the samples were divided into intervention and control groups using block random allocation. The intervention group participated in ۱۲ sessions of electro- acupressure on acupoints (LI۴, LI۱۱) from ۲۶ to ۳۲ weeks of pregnancy. The Oswestry Disability Questionnaire before, ۲ and ۴ weeks after the intervention were completed in both groups. Data were analyzed using R software and mixed effects model tests and mixed effects model post hoc test with Tukey correction. A p-value less than ۰.۰۵ was considered significant.Results: The results of the study showed that the intervention significantly reduced disability compared to the control group (P <۰.۰۰۱).Conclusion: Electrical stimulation of Hugo and Kochi needles during pregnancy can improve the disability in women with pelvic girdle pain and is recommended as a non-pharmacological method for low-risk pregnant women
