Abstract:

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men and the second-leading cause in womenworldwide and its occurrence and mortality are heavily influenced by cigarette smoking patterns. Based onhistopathology assessment lung cancer can be divided into two general subtypes, non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) between which the former is the more common type. Lungadenocarcinoma (LAUD) is the most common among the three histological forms of NSCLC. It is speculatedthat subclasses of cancer may be related to different cells of origin and their related microenvironmentsNSCLS can be defined as an invasive and complex disease because it cannot be assessed by a single geneticalteration or a particular biological pathway.Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men and the second-leading cause in womenworldwide and its occurrence and mortality are heavily influenced by cigarette smoking patterns. It is speculatedthat subclasses of cancer may be related to different cells of origin and their related microenvironmentsNSCLS can be defined as an invasive and complex disease because it cannot be assessed by a single geneticalteration or a particular biological pathway. This study was conducted through analysis of microarray dataacquired from the GEO database. The analysis was conducted in an R language environment. The DEGs(Differentially Expressed Gene) related to LAUD cases were identified and gene profiles related to these setof DEGs was subsequently obtained.
