Abstract:
Hepatocellular carcinoma is a type of primary liver cancer.HCC is the sixth most common cancer in the worldand the third leading cause of cancer deaths. The most important cause of death in patients with HCC is morethan ۸۰% of cronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C in fection and long _term use of aflatoxin. One of thecharacteristics of this malignancy is the high rate of progression of this disease HCC is a malignant tumorwith a poor diagnosis that surgery and liver transplantation have been the two main treatments that can bepreformed only in the early stages. Objective: The aim of this study was to identify key genes, biological pathways and new drug targets usingappropriate bioinformatics toola to combat hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods: in this study microarray expressive data downloaded from GEO database was used, which usedGEO۲R online server to analyze the data.protein interaction was also potted using a network analysis criteriawere preformed using cytoscape software using the centiscape plugin analysis of gene categories was alsoobtained using a metascape. finally, ۹ key genes were identified, including CCNA۲, CCNB۱, TYMS, EZH۲,PCNA, CDK۱, CAT, ESR۱, ALB.Also different key pathways have been identifided that are associated with hepatocellularcarcinoma.identification of these genes and key pathways involved in hcc discovering the disease mechanismand appropriate drug targets.
