Abstract:
In this paper, a method for analyzing and optimizing multi-objective effects of roughness and aerodynamics on the efficiency of wind turbine blades is presented. Optimization problem solving is done using non- dominated sorting genetic algorithm. The results show that with increasing operating period, the reduction of coefficient, increases continuously. However, using the proposed optimization method, the coefficient is reduced in less time, in other words, at a higher speed. Also, with increasing operating period, the increasing of drag coefficient, increase continuously. However, using the proposed optimization method, the drag coefficient is increased in less time. Moreover, with increasing wind speed, first, the production power of wind turbines increases. But from a certain speed onwards, as the wind speed increases, the amount of power output decreases. Also, with increasing the roughness coefficient, the amount of production wind power decreases. Also, by optimizing the roughness values and aerodynamic characteristics, the efficiency of the blades has been significantly increased.
