Abstract:
This paper considers a mid-term electricity acquisitionproblem for large consumer with multiple acquisition optionsincluding distributed generations (DGs), bilateral contracts andpool market purchase considering demand response programs(DRP). Also, this paper applies an imperialist competitivealgorithm (ICA) to find electricity acquisition for large consumerwith multiple acquisition options. Also, this paper is focused tostudy the effect of DRP on total acquisition cost, where the timeof-use (TOU) rates DRP have been modeled and consequently itsinfluence on load profile and acquisition cost reduction has beendiscussed. A case study is used to illustrate the efficiency of theproposed algorithm
