Abstract:
Columns are one of the most important constituents in structures, providing overall stability and resistance to earthquake force. Therefore, the use of composite columns in the construction industry is increasing day by day because of their better behavior. One of these composite sections is steel columns filled with concrete. CFST columns are made of steel with circular, square or octagonal sections and are assembled concentrically and filled with concrete between them. These columns have the combined advantages of steel and concrete. CFST Columns In addition to having all the benefits of CFST columns, there are many other benefits as well. However, any new structural system requires careful laboratory and numerical studies. Therefore, in order to generalize the use of these columns in buildings, studies on their behavior should be carried out. In this regard, in this study, the performance of these columns under the influence of off-center loads, with their reinforced form, is investigated.
