Abstract:
Due to the sensitivity and importance of stabilizers in the quality of life of patients, it has always been tried to improve the biomechanical performance of stabilizers, increase their useful life and durability to some extent. In the same vein, a new type of titanium screw with a porous structure for repairing cranial tissue fractures was modeled in this study and analyzed under axial tensile force loading in Abacus finite element software. The analyzes are performed dynamically by applying a gradual force until the screw breaks and breaks. The desired boundary conditions are defined in such a way that the movement of the screw is limited in all degrees of freedom. In addition, free screw mesh with a size of ۰.۴ units was performed. In order to validate the results of the simulations, a titanium screw with an integrated structure and used in cranioplasty surgeries was also modeled in this study and analyzed under the same conditions as before. The final results of the analyzes of both screws in this research are compared with each other and these results and the obtained diagrams are discussed.
