Abstract:

Background: The COVID-۱۹–related lockdown has profoundly changed human behaviors and habits, impairing general and psychological well-being. Along with psychosocial consequences, it is possible that sexual behavior was also affected.Aims of research: With the present study, we evaluated the impact of the Sexual health in medical staff During COVID-۱۹ PandemicMaterials and Methods: Electronic databases (PubMed, Scopus, and ISI Web of Science) were searched to find published articles on sexual health and Coronavirus until May ۲۰۲۲. All relevant studies were screened by inclusion and exclusion criteria and compatible studies were chosen.Results: Almost studies in our knowledge found a decrease in sexual satisfaction during COVID pandemic. The rate of spread of the COVID-۱۹ outbreak appears to be quite high and causes severe stress for healthcare professionals working in the front line. During the COVID-۱۹ outbreak, healthcare workers’ sexual desires decreased, the number of sexual intercourses decreased, their foreplay times decreased, and their sexual intercourse positions changed to less face to face.Conclusion: Issues of sexual and reproductive health and sexual well-being are closely related to overall health and quality of life and should not be forgotten even in such times of crisis.
