Abstract:
Recently, with the growth in population, hikingfuel price and global warming concerns, the utilization ofDistributed Energy Resources (DERs) is rising considerably. Inthis regard, to optimally operate these integrated energy systemsdecision maker should consider the uncertainties in bothenergy/reserve markets and consumptions/generations in Micro-Grids. In this paper, a new Smart Energy Management System(SEMS) based on data mining methods is proposed and tested viavarious scenarios. The mentioned SEMS includes different layersto process data accurately. Some critical features of SEMSinclude acquiring and processing data, optimizing objectivefunctions and managing risk. Three objective functions aredefined for the SEMS to minimize the total operating cost andthe net emission of the distributed generators (DGs) as well asload reliability (EENS index) with respect to some technicalconstraints for the MG.
