In this paper, a feed-forward dynamic model for the hybrid electric vehicle powertrain simulation has been presented with a power management for an electric-assisted HEV in series configuration. Fuzzy logic controller is applied for management of energy flows of this type of hybrid electric vehicle. This system is simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
