Abstract:

Talent development is often aimed at nurturing athletes who can perform at a high performance or even global level. In fact, talent is a factor that in terms of management includes various stages such as emergence, growth and maintenance, which includes the stage of emergence of various dimensions, including the family.The present study is with a managerial approach and aims to investigate the impact of the family environment on the emergence of children s sports talents.This research, in terms of type, is descriptive-survey; In terms of method, it was field and in terms of purpose, it was practical. The statistical population of the study was all experts of first division football league, provincial leagues and basic teams (with at least ۵ years of experience) and non-random and purposeful sampling method. The statistical sample was determined based on the first rule of Barclay et al. (۱۹۹۶) with ۱۰ times the family dimension indicators that had the highest index among the dimensions of the measurement model, equal to at least ۱۰۰ people. The research tool was adjusted using the main dimensions of the model of Henriksen et al. (۲۰۱۰) and Goharrostami et al. (۲۰۱۷) and its items were adjusted according to the Likert five-value spectrum using a library and field study; Also, the construct validity was confirmed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, face validity by ۱۶ experts and the reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed by Cronbach s alpha coefficient of ۰.۷۵.The results showed that among the dimensions affecting the development of children s sports talents are family sports participation (۰.۸۹), family economic power (۰.۷۲), family education level (۰.۶۴) and gender discrimination between children (۰.۵۸), respectively had the greatest impact on explaining the variable of emergence of children s sports talents in the family environment.According to the findings, due to the role modeling and imitation of children s behavior from their parents, the more sports participation of family members, the more likely it is that children s sports talents will flourish and emerge.
