A questionnaire is the data collection tool based on the Health Belief Model. The questionnaire was designed on line on the prestigious Press Line website and provided for the target group. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version ۲۴ in addition to the Shapiro-Wilk test, independent t-test, and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The results of the present study reveals that ۷۷% of pregnant women were thoroughly aware of this disease and the ways to prevent it. Mean scores of perceived sensitivity, Severity, benefits, barriers, and self-efficacy were respectively ۶.۹±۱.۳۵, ۷۱.۷۳±۱۶.۲۳, ۲۶.۵±۲.۸, ۲۲.۴۸±۳.۱, ۲۳.۳۱±۵.۰۵, ۶۳.۹۹±۸.۵. Results depict that by increasing educational level, the self-efficacy average among pregnant mothers has increased significantly (P<۰.۰۵). Also, the mean of perceived barriers in pregnant women Who are contaminated was significantly higher than mothers who were not infected.
