Background and Objective: Coronavirus ۲۰۱۹ is the causative agent of the Covid ۱۹ disease and has a high transmission rate, and one of the possible places of its spread is dental offices and clinics. This article will examine the ways and methods of prevention and transmission of this virus in the dental environment.Materials and Methods: In this review study, articles indexed in Elsevier, psychinfo, Nursing index, Proquest, Scopus, Google scholar, and Persian databases including Irandoc,Iran Medex, Magiran, SID were used.Results: For prevention, critical transfer environments in the office or clinic should be known, which in general is divided into four general parts: ۱- Prevention including personal hygiene of dentists, ۲- Personal hygiene of patients, ۳- Hygiene of dental environment and ۴- Hygiene of tools and waste disposal management; in which by carefully observing each of them, the transmission of the disease in the offices can be prevented.Conclusion: The dental environment and the dental staff are suitable and susceptible mediators of Coronavirus ۲۰۱۹ transmission, but by observing special health protocols andeducating patients, the transmission and spread of possible contamination in the dental environment can be prevented.
