Abstract:
PCR is a highly advanced, but at the same time a simple technique whoseversatility and application is proved due to its ability to provide qualitativeand quantitative results in most biological and clinical fields. The inventionof PCR along with its application in clinical diagnostics, DNA profiling,recombinant DNA and other fields such as anthropology, crime, etc. hashad a tremendous impact on the process of molecular science. Sequencingthe human genome and the genome of other organisms has enabled PCR tobe useable in a variety of ways to accurately analyze the data. Thesewidespread applications are the result of a change in the basic PCRtechnique resulted in other forms such as RT-PCR, qPCR, Multiplex PCR,Nested PCR, Miniprimer PCR. Today, new generations of PCR, includingExtreme PCR, Photonic PCR, ColdPCR and Nanoparticle PCR, haveemerged minimizing the limitations of long duration and nonspecificreplication, etc.
