Vitamin D and Breast cancer: Is there a relationship?

Several studies have been done to establishthe relationship between Vitamin Ddeficiency and various diseases. Breastcancer is the most common tumour amongwomen and it has become the second leadingcause of death in them. In our systematicreview, we evaluated evidence linking serum۲۵(OH)D with breast cancer (BC)occurrence.All papers published in databases such asPubMed, Scopus, Google scholar, and Webof Science (January ۱st ۲۰۰۰ through Dec۳۰th, ۲۰۲۱) were included using PRISMAguidelines. In total sixty nine studies meetingour inclusion criteria were included inpresent study. To evaluate the quality ofincluded articles, we used the QualityAssessment Tool.
