Abstract:
Contradictory results were reported onthe effect of fat mass and obesityassociated(FTO) gene andanthropometric measurements on BC.This study aimed to assess theinteractions between rs۹۹۳۹۶۰۹polymorphism of FTO gene,anthropometric indices, and BC risk inIranian women.This case-control study was performedon ۵۴۰ women including ۱۸۰ womenwith BC and ۳۶۰ healthy women inTehran, Iran. Physical activity anddietary intakes were assessed byvalidated questionnaires. Data onsocio-demographic and pathologicfactors of the participants as well astheir blood samples were collected.
