Comparison of Diffusion Weighted Imaging and Diffusion Kurtosis Imagingmethods for Differentiating Benign and Malignant Breast Lesions in MRI

DWI and DKI are two quantitative MRIimaging methods that use respectivelycoefficient ADC (apparent diffusioncoefficient) and the other with twocoefficients MD (average Diffusivity) andMK (average kurtosis), in high-risk patientsin the diagnosis and differentiation of breastlesions.The present review study was conducted bysearching the Pubmed, Sciense Direct,Google Scholar, Magiran and SID databasesin Persian and English since ۲۰۱۴. Finally,among the searched articles, ۲۱ articles wereused based on the study criteria.
