Abstract:
The component model of hydraulic network such as reservoir or tank,pipe,constant discharge pump,check valve,pressure reducing valve and booster pump based on graph theory approach is developed.Then analysis based on linear graph theory has been carried out by constructionof system graph and formulation of equations(i.e nodal formulation) which frees the analysis from the problem of convergence and initialization .These nodal equations are functions of the unknown nodal heads.Moreover,the linear graph theory approach,explicitly takes into account the various topographical feature of the network. Also the addition of pumps,reservoirs etc can easily be incorporated in the analysis.
