A FUZZY BASED CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING THE LEVEL OF TANK AND MINIMIZING THE MOVEMENT OF INPUT VALVE

In this paper, we present a fuzzy based controller chip in order to control the level of a tank. A motor valve controls the tank level and the significant aim of this paper is to represent a controller for minimizing the movement of motor valve, at the same time, setting the level of tank constantly at defined set point. The advantages of this type of control are to reduce both motor and input valve amortization and to increase useful lifetime of them. Besides, we apply simple and inexpensive elements in order to measure tank level and output flow, and it adds to advantages of this method.the controller is designed by fuzzy techniques in 0.35 um CMOS technology .
